Sterling Silver - Gold Plated: Gold vermeil is made from two precious metals - gold and silver- and so while both metals are tough, precious jewellery requires care to keep them looking their lustrous best.
To prevent tarnishing or damaging the gold layer on your jewellery, make sure that your earrings or necklaces don't come into contact with chlorinated water or chemicals. It is important to put your makeup and perfume on before your jewellery and take your jewellery off before doing any cleaning, or before you jump into the shower or pool. Carefully store your jewellery away from air
To protect your jewellery and prevent tarnishing when you are not wearing it, it is important to store your jewellery in the seude bag provided. We also recommend you store each piece seperately and if you place more than one item in your bag, wrap each piece in acid free tissue paper so it doesn't tangle and scratch against the other items.
How to clean dirty or tarnished gold vermeil jewellery: if your gold is lightly tarnished, it can be brightened up with a gold polishing cloth. Do not use tissue or paper towel to clean your jewellery as this will cause scratches. We do not recommend using chemical jewellery dips as this can remove the gold.

I’ve changed my mind and no longer want my item. What can I do?
That’s not a problem at all. As much as we would like you to love our products we realise that this may not always be the case. Please contact us immediately on receipt of goods and we will discuss this with you. You can contact us on 020 4138 1755 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Although we are unable to offer a refund in this situation, we may be able to offer you an exchange or store credit. To be eligible for your item to be returned, it must be in an unused and saleable condition, with all packaging still intact.
Goods need to be returned back to SHELF within 14 days of receipt of goods.

What if my goods are damaged or the product I received is faulty?
If any of your items arrive damaged or are faulty please contact us immediately so we can sort this issue for you. As per New Zealand Consumer Law you will be offered a refund, exchange or store credit.
For damaged goods we may require images so that we can chase the matter up with our courier. Once again, goods need to be returned back to SHELF within 14 days of receipt of goods.
How do I complete a return?
We advise that you use track and trace postage as we cannot accept responsibility for any lost packages. Please include a copy of the invoice in with goods for easy identification.
